Be Joyful Always - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

(16) Be joyful always; (17) pray continually; (18) give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

I have learned to be joyful even in the midst of great adversity.  I want you to pay particular attention to the right side of this site.  Notice "My Favorite Links".  You will read about Maggie Cobb.  I urge you to click on to the caringbridge site set up for her and her family.  She is a precious nine year old child who has an inoperable brain tumor.  Please pray for her and tell everyone you know to pray for her and her family.  Even in the midst of great concern for her health, I pray for them to keep joy in their hearts.  I don't doubt God's presence in their lives to lift them up and to strengthen them and to comfort them as only he can do.

Be a prayer warrior for this beautiful child of God.

Our great God is in the business of miracles.  Though man may consider something to be hopeless, we can't put limits on our limitless God.  Be joyful always.  Pray without ceasing.  Give thanks.  This is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

If you have joy in your heart, don't let anyone take it away from you.  If you don't have joy in your heart this moment, know that it is attainable.  Delve into your Bible and find out how to experience joy in the midst of adversity.  It is possible to be joyful when if feels as though your heart is breaking.   Think of all the things for which you have to be thankful.  A grateful heart is a great avenue to bring home your joy.

Now is the time.  It is of the essence.

Lord, please help the one reading this message have  a joyful day regardless of current circumstances that are beyond their control.  In Jesus name I pray.

Joyfully yours,
Nan
