Passionate Purpose - Philippians 2:1-5

(1) If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, (2) then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.  (3) Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.  (4) Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.  (5) Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.

The apostle Paul and I have a lot in common.  We truly relate to things in the same way.  Two years ago today, October 21, 2007, I began sending out Nan's Calendar through email and in less than two years, it has become larger and stronger than in its inception.  This is the work of God, not that I can boast for myself.  I will gladly boast on behalf of the Lord.

It has been my honor and passionate joy to put fingers to the keys and mind to the Spirit, giving you a taste of the Good Things the Lord has waiting for you when you reach out in faith and truly believe in him and his purpose for your life.  I hope and pray you have received some comfort and encouragement from my dedicated efforts to do so.  Some of you may perceive to not have a close personal relationship with me, but I love you and I feel a closeness to you that goes beyond words.

I hope you continue to follow God's word through Nan's Calendar by visiting this blog.  Remember, it is my way of giving back what has been given to me through the years.  The more we give, the more we receive.  Honestly.

Take care and have a wonderful day!
In Christian love, Nan
