Wordchimes - 2 Timothy 2:15

(15) Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

The poem featured today was written by one of my favorite poets whose poetry is published at http://www.wordchimes.com/   My dear friend, Mr. Quentin Clingerman is the originator and administrator of this awe-inspiring website where you'll find poetry that honors God and offers inspiration and encouragement.  It is my honor and great pleasure to be counted among them.  Poetry is God's gift to these wonderful men and women who give so generously of themselves.
If you dabble with words and are so inclined to share your own words of inspiration and food for thought, please send Que some of your writings.  Your words will be music to the ears of an interested audience.  This poetic form of praise to the Lord is intended to be shared with the world and not kept hidden in a folder in the backside of a drawer.

THE ALPHABET
The alphabet is spectacular
The letters from A to Z
They make up all the words we use
That are contained within ones head
Just look at a common dictionary
To see how many you know
You'll be surprised by the number of them
And the list continues to grow.
Some words are used for emphasis
Some words are used in slang
"Shut up and get outta here,
You no good rangatang"
A cautionary principle
When you use your words... be discrete!
You never know the day may come
Those words you'll have to eat!
